I am joining the Marines in January. I scored really high on my asvab, it...98 which is one point below the best. I thought they must have been mistaken, or my recruiter was fucking with me. It happened like this...

Me-"Hello?"
Stranger-"Yes, is this Miles Wyntholos?"
Me-"Yeah"
Stranger-"Well you see I found some underwear with your name on it, you know, with the shit streaks?"
Me-"Hey Gunny, whats up?"
Gunny-"nothing much man, i am looking at your asvab score...and I see that you could have done better"
Me-"Shoot man, I know I could have done better, I didn't have anything to eat all day except what you gave me for breakfast, which of course was 18 hours ago."
Gunny-"You could have done better and you didn't? What kind of crap are you smokin'?"
Me-"Sorry gunny, but I just didn't do as well as I thought I could"
Gunny-"Well, if you did better you would have made a 99"
Me-"What are you talking about?"
Gunny-"You made a 98"
Me-"You better not be shittin me, cause if you are you are going to feel my fist man! *Laughs*"
It was a cool thing to happen. On my clerical skills I made a 137, on my mechanical I made a 119, on my electronics I made a 129 and on something else I made a 130.
I got drunk for the first time on friday night. I drank about 12 shots of Bacardi and 2 beers, which I think were natural ice. I passed out on the person that I was at's table, floor, couch, sink, and im sure a couple other places. I threw up in the sink, they had this huge sink that I practically filled up. When I got home I threw up on the fence 2 times and beside the door 1 time. I passed out on my bed. While I was in the car on the ride home I saw that the clock said about 145, and I woke up a couple hours later with a shitty hangover till 430pm. I had to go to the "pool activity" which is basically a pain in the ass if you are drunk or have a hangover =P

This is my first blog...
Tommorrow is my father's birthday...he is turning 47...wow he is gettin' old.
My thoughts today are on a special person that I had a crush on during highschool. For whatever reasons, I will call her Grim. Grim was different than any other girl that I have met. She was intelligent and cute. She knows the difference of frivalous and important. Such as if she didn't have her favourite outfit to wear she wouldn't bitch about it or that kind of nonsense. Well the thing that I liked most about her was in actuality 2 things. The first was the fact that she was intelligent. The second was that she would talk to me and have a conversation. You might hear about a girl complaining about how a guy doesn't listen, girls don't listen either. Of course I always listen because knowledge is power and I crave power or some nonsense. I may not seem to intelligent now, but that is because I lack the finesse of writing and such. Maybe I liked her because she gave me attention too. Not flirty attention mind you, but attention nonetheless.
I think I will always regret not talking to her more. Everyday I would come to class planning on striking up a conversation with her. Alas I never could get the courage to talk to her but a couple of times. We had alot in common...which was neat. For one she reads books that are of the same genre as the books I read. For a second, she plays video games, and for third she stands up for what she believes in. Mind you, I don't necessarily believe in everything that she says, but I respect her opinion and her enough to not say she is wrong. I am like that.
Oh well, um...end
